Doetinchem, the Netherlands, 20 August 2020 – NovoServe, a Netherlands-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) hosting provider, announces that it now has a global network capacity reaching more than 2 Tbps. The news follows the earlier announcement - just a few months ago - that it had doubled its network capacity. So, a double whammy in 12-months’ time.
NovoServe currently operates from multiple European data centers. Its network expansion is meant to enhance further network efficiency, high-availability, and scalability options. The architecture and technology used will be the foundation for all new data center networks and expansion at current locations. It is part of a significant restructuring of the company’s global network.
“The bandwidth usage in our network is continually growing fast. This network expansion will enable further growth. Especially for our high-bandwidth consuming clients. Some of whom provide international streaming services,” said Herke Plantenga, CEO and founder of NovoServe. “In anticipation of customers’ expectations, it also paves the way to deploy servers with 25Gbps, 50Gbps, or even 100Gbps interfaces. We see a strong market requirement for those so that we will be adding these to our portfolio shortly. The network expansion supports various functionalities, including, e.g., DDoS Protection, Private Networking, and by default Link Aggregation."
The company’s approach, where it delivers highly customized - though simplified – bare metal dedicated server solutions that would cater to the need of clients with high-demanding applications, including cloud providers, broadcasting, gaming companies and those dealing with financial services and adtech are among the main reasons for NovoServe’s success in growing at such a fast pace.
